Telemetry Data Transmission, Storage and Processing System Supporting Ski-mountaineering Race

The article describes design of a new telemetry data transmission, storage and processing system used to transmit, store and process data measured during an overnight ski-mountaineering race. The proposed system has to solve many problems connected to the data transmission in the hard-accessible terrain, transmitted data storage and processing and some more problems originated from specific conditions of such a race. Special emphasis is given on the low-budget multi-platform solution and easily accessible technologies.
